Remembering Redwoods metal print by Marilyn Jacobson. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
I grew up in northern California, in the redwoods. At that time, the logging trucks carried a portion of one redwood as a full load. Twenty years later, they carried three smaller redwoods. Now they carry a dozen smaller redwood trees. It's sad to see so many trees cut. Generally, they leave the trees you can see from the Interstate highway, so tourists don't notice the loss. My, those redwoods are magestic!
