This painting shows snow from a child's perspective... some of the snowflakes are the kind a child makes by folding paper. This child was painted from my imagination. I love her blue eyes, reflecting the blue of the winter sky.
: I paint in a variety of styles, from realistic to whimsical, loose and intuitive, without photo references. Working form my imagination, the process is playful, energetic and very liberating, like a child creating a beautiful make-believe world. I also enjoy painting portraits of people and animals, using the style of your choice, and love to capture the personality or mood of the subject.
